The Leadership MAP The Leadership MAP (also known as SCTi-MAP or the LDP) is the most widely-used, highly validated and reliable of developmental assessments. Unlike others tools, the Leadership MAP makes powerful and subtle distinctions at the high-end of adult development. The Leadership MAP identifies your main stage or action logic within The Leadership Maturity Framework. This is the level from which you habitually make sense of your experience and the world. The profile points to your unique strengths and vulnerabilities, your fallback positions and concerns as well as your areas of major challenge and potential for personal growth. The Leadership Maturity Framework offers a subtle and comprehensive stage model for understanding how people and groups make different sense of their roles, opportunities and conflict situations depending on their level of development. It provides a proven and practical approach to designing development plans and supporting team effectiveness. We use the term action logic to describe the different world view you most commonly use. Your action logic is a coherent and internally consistent belief system that describes how you are likely to think, feel, and behave in various life situations. The LMF describes nine action logics of increasing complexity, each one more effective, insightful, and integrated than the previous one. Each action logic also has its own strength and vulnerabilities. In light of the emerging interest in spiritual and ethical dimensions of leadership, the LMF makes the most subtle and explicit distinctions at the high-end of the personal developmental spiral and includes ego-transcendent perspectives.
