Since 1984 Dana Carman has had the privilege of coaching and consulting visionary leaders and organizations spanning five continents across multiple sectors of society. His clients are courageous men and women who demonstrate a commitment to not only transform themselves and their organizations, but also the industries and regions in which their organizations are imbedded. A hallmark of Dana’s whole systems change approach is the simultaneous deployment of both a top down and bottom up approach that he has developed with his colleagues and pioneered in his work with over one hundred small to mid-size market leading organizations.

Dana’s passion and expertise is in building the capacity of individuals, teams, organizations and systems to create and deliver on their highest aspirations. His consulting engagements are defined by the client organization sustaining the breakthrough results made possible from engaging with Dana and his partners. Dana was one of three people who created The Mastery of Coaching, a year-long program and one of the first coaching programs in the marketplace for senior executives and boards of directors.

Along with the Mastery of Coaching program, Dana has co-designed and lead multi year capacity building programs for more than 500 consultants and social change agents from five continents. For seven years he directed and hosted the Executive Forum for Health Care Executives - a cutting edge learning community for leading edge CEOs of hospitals and health care systems.

In 2003 he became a founding principal of Pacific Integral, a consultancy and learning laboratory dedicated to developing the capacity of individuals and market leading organizations to create the futures they are most committed to. Their groundbreaking 18-month program, Generating Transformative Change (GTC), draws participants from across the globe and has been cited in a recent in-depth global study as one of the best programs of its kind in the world.

Serving as a global activist for 30 years, Dana is deeply involved in issues ranging from ending hunger to environmental education. He has been an outdoor educator and wilderness guide, and organized trips to the Amazon and Sub Saharan Africa as an expression of his global commitment to effective action. He was a member of a core group that pioneered a transformational method of fundraising described in Lynne Twist's critically acclaimed book, The Soul of Money.

Dana’s study and practice of multiple forms of meditation over the last 30 years informs and supports his work as a mentor, coach, consultant, and teacher. He has also been a Hospice volunteer and with his wife acted as the primary caregivers for his mother [recently deceased] and aunt. Dana lives near Seattle, Washington with his beloved wife Sarah and teenage stepchildren Sydney and Jack. He is an avid telemark skier, hiker, and sports fan. Dana lives and works to create a world that his grandchildren will be proud of.
