I am in awe that any of us are here and that anything exists at all. Existence to me seems both a miracle and a mystery. Any attempts at measuring, predicting, storytelling or imagining all seem to fall short of what is right in front of us. We don’t really know what will happen next until it happens. So it seems to me that developing the largest most awake and present awareness we can, brings us the greatest reward in our personal, relational, spiritual and worldly pursuits. What is happening right now inside my consciousness and outside in the world? How can I remove judgments, and layers of conditioning to see with Naked Awareness what is asked of me and us? This is my lifetime practice.
I experience the relative world permeated and alive as spirit or the absolute. I am fascinated as I watch how an infinite sequence, combination and co-arising of events, thoughts, attitudes, actions, inventions, and nature itself, all over the world relate, co-relate, respond, interact, evolve and become a new experience of now continuously from infinite perspectives. In the space between each of those relational interactions and through the permeability are opportunities to intervene with innovation. I enjoy allowing this complexity, possibility and open, creativity into my awareness. I perceive relationships everywhere.
How do I live day to day, with this awareness? How do I function without overwhelm? I must release the small i which is unable to process this vast amount of information. I must let the constantly arising information sift through, flowing in and out of awareness freely. As I release the need to process information solely through cognition, I unite with the spaciousness through which mystery organizes itself as form. Then I am intimate with vast awareness as well as the ever-changing infinite relative creativity that arises in every now moment.
For the last twenty five years I have explored and practiced psychodynamic and body-centered approaches to psychology, subtle energies, eastern philosophies, relational and emotional intelligence, integral theory, and transpersonal states and stages of consciousness. I am constantly changing, sometimes alive, free, loving, and sometimes the opposite of each of those.
