Our world is changing rapidly. In the midst of our ordinary lives, some of us feel a call to greater service. We sense that our current ways of thinking, acting, and relating don’t match the challenges we face. We see unjust and inhumane conditions in the world, but also signs of an awakening consciousness and potential for transformation. We are called to develop and have greater impact. Never before have so many of us felt the need to serve in new ways, to evolve and lead.

Do you feel your own call to greater leadership and expression? It happens differently for each of us. You may be preparing yourself for a life change or launching a new career. You may sense that something deeper is required of you – and want to align and fully use your capacity to serve what calls. Or perhaps you sense that you see more and feel more than those around you – you seem to speak a different language and feel a different pull to life and what truly matters. You may have been deeply engaged in your own development and growth. You may even see yourself as an evolutionary leader at work or in your community, or simply wherever you are.

For six years, GTC (Generating Transformative Change) has been building a community of leaders, developed through a profoundly transformative educational experience. Over nine months, in an extraordinary community of individuals, you learn how to focus your awareness, train your interior and exterior eyes and build skills that bring elegance to your unique, practical path of service in the world, no matter what field, no matter what age, area of expertise or experience.
With the active involvement of faculty and program participants, GTC is part of PI’s longitudinal action research study, which focuses on building structural, cultural, behavioral and experiential ecologies that support the natural growth toward later stages of adult development of which most people are readily capable. This naturally accelerated development has positive implications for our future as we awaken a new, more whole consciousness and a more interconnected, planetary form of leadership.
Based on leading developmental models, such as Susanne Cook-Greuter’s Leadership Development Framework, initial results of our first seven cohorts indicate that GTC participants typically evolve one or two levels of development and expand significantly in a range of capacities and skills. In the short period of the program, participants naturally live from and become a greater, more comfortable expression of themselves. These shifts bring about real, significant, and sustaining changes in their lives.
