Our first GTC Africa cohort started in November 2013 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and graduated in August of 2014. Our second cohort began in December 2014 and graduated in August of 2015.
The 9-month process includes four five-day intensive cohort sessions plus group and one-on-one interaction online and by phone between the intensives, mentoring, on-line assignments and coaching support. Sessions combine theory, practice, and application.
There are complementary Pre- and Post-Program leadership assessment and results through the StAGES Assessment. Enrollment will be limited to no more than 17 participants.
The fees per retreat remain the same and the fees are as follows:
Self-sponsored/ Local not-for-profit: – USD 1,860 ($465/retreat);
Local Company/ Public Sector-sponsored: – USD 2,400 ($600/retreat);
International Corporate / not-for-profit sponsored: – USD 2,700 ($675/retreat);
There is a one time registration fee of USD 100 to be paid at the first retreat.

Retreat 2: 4 – 8 March, 2015
Retreat 3: 17 – 21 June, 2015
Retreat 4: 26 – 30 August, 2015
Venue: Abbaba’s Villa, Addis Ababa. The location would allow for expansion and relaxation, which can nurture space for an experiential process. Please contact Abbaba’s Villa directly to book your room. Accommodations are additional.
Faculty: Sessions will be delivered by faculty flying from the US jointly with Ethiopian faculty.
Scholarships: Scholarships will be available for 3 young potentials.
