In this four and a half day residential workshop, you will dive deeply into the STAGES model and experience a thorough introduction to this unique and comprehensive map of human development.

STAGES is a new theory and assessment methodology for human development, created by Terri O’Fallon, Ph.D., grown out of her decades of experience in Education and years of research on development. This new model reveals understandings about how human beings grow throughout life and helps us each make sense of where we are in our development, personally and professionally. Practically, it gives us a road map for our individual and collective, human potential.

STAGES utilizes Ken Wilber's quadrants as a scoring mechanism and provides reproducibility with Cook-Greuter’s developmental MAP in its first study. The model encompasses current developmental approaches by integrating stages and the Integral approach. This creates a set of simple repeating patterns that can be used to select interventions that fit a particular developmental level. STAGES has a statistically study that supports three new later stages of development.

Benefits of Attending

  • Understand the STAGES model with exercises and practices for recognizing the developmental levels using three questions.
  • Discover connections in the development of consciousness to understandings in neurobiology, spiritual growth and cultural and evolutionary development.
  • Learn to recognize the stages through observation.
  • Experience the transformative power of deep, embodied perceiving of the evolutionary nature of consciousness.
  • Learn about approaches for supporting interventions for people at each level of development; helpful for coaches, psychotherapists, spiritual directors and mentors of any kind.
