The Aware Leader: Supporting Post-Autonomous Leadership Development

PDF - 2020 - In this chapter we share our research and learning from 15 years of designing and facilitating the Generating Transformative Change program. We address how we work developmentally with leaders, including the ethical principles that guide our work, the application of the STAGES model, and the research that informs and guides the program’s curriculum. More specifically, we examine the developmental transition between Strategist and Construct Aware, the unique challenges and opportunities of this developmental transition, and the practices and processes that support it.
