GTC Registration

Time to Register

Important details and steps to complete your registration.

We are excited to have you join us for the next GTC program. Your application has been approved and now you are ready to register. This page has important information to review and options to choose from to complete your registration below.

This is a good time to review the program schedule, make sure the retreat dates are on your calendar, and that you have all the support you need to participate in the program. Practical challenges sometimes interfere with participants' ability to engage with GTC, so make sure you have space to fully participate.

Please take a moment to review the policies and agreements below. These agreements are intended to support the depth of the learning process.

About a month before the program starts, we will provide access to an online mini-course with information about how to get ready for the program.

Retreat Dates

Attendance at all four retreats is required for participation. Participants arrive the day before the retreat starts to allow for travel and settling in. Please make sure these dates are on your calendar and that you are clear to attend each retreat in full.

  • October 13 - 18, 2026
  • January 19 - 24, 2027
  • April 20 - 25, 2027
  • July 14 - 18, 2027

Retreat dates include your arrival day. You can arrive and register anytime after 4pm on the first day, and dinner is included. The program formally begins at 9am on the second day.

Program Commitment Agreement

GTC is a significant commitment to your own development, to the learning community you will join, and the other participants. You are not just a participant; Your presence is a contribution to yourself and others, and matters to the process and outcomes of GTC, and to each of us as human beings.

Transformative work is challenging. To navigate those challenges requires making a wholehearted, grounded commitment to engage in the process, to anticipate challenges, and to sustain your engagement throughout the program.

The following are required for participation in GTC. By registering for the program, you agree to:

  • Be present at all retreats. Put the retreats on your calendar and plan adequate time to arrive on time and leave when the retreat is over (departure from the retreat center no earlier than 12pm on the final day). The retreats are immersive experiences. Prepare yourself to be fully present at the retreats. Arrive adequately rested and leave yourself space to reintegrate after the retreat. Don’t bring work or schedule meetings during the retreats. Plan on being available to yourself and others during our time together.
  • Attend the cohort inter-session calls (two 2-hour calls between each retreat).
  • Participate in other inter-session activities including peer mentoring calls, coaching calls with faculty, pre-retreat reflective writing, individual and cohort practices and activities, and staying connected with your cohort during the inter-session. These activities are not pre-scheduled. You agree to make yourself available and prioritize these activities to allow for your full engagement. The intersession activities change (and deepen) as the program progresses including small group work in the 2nd and 3rd inter-sessions.
  • Show up in relationship. We are building a community with each other during the process. This means learning to be open, engaged, vulnerable and accountable with each other. We all have learning edges around relationship but stepping into GTC means agreeing to lean into these edges and to show up as good friends to each other in the process.
  • Work vulnerably, creatively and sincerely with inevitable challenges that will arise. GTC can be a joyful, life changing experience. You can also anticipate challenges. At times you may find yourself up against an edge, confused, disappointed, judgmental, or anxious about the process. Bring in your experience. Explore it with your cohort and with faculty.
  • Maintain confidentiality to support a safe learning environment. You are free to share your experience and learning with GTC without revealing the details of others’ experience.
  • Minimize device use during the retreats. Leave your devices on silent and out of sight in meeting rooms and minimize their use in other public spaces.
  • Refrain from using any psychoactive substances during all program activities. The one exception to this is in each retreat there are one or two social evenings where light drinking and cannabis use is allowed.
  • If at any point you are unable to or have concerns about your ability to engage in the program in this way, you agree to raise the issue with faculty, and in some cases with the cohort, promptly, with the intent to collaboratively problem-solve any conflict that has arisen. Depending on the circumstances, consequences for being unable to participate in GTC activities can include navigating the relational impact in the learning community and/or being asked to discontinue participation in the program.

Financial Policy

Withdrawals that occur prior to one month before the starting date of the program are fully refundable less a deposit of $500. If withdrawal occurs within one month of the starting date and up to two weeks following the first retreat, 50% of the program fee will be forfeited. No refunds are possible two weeks after the first retreat ends, regardless of reason for withdrawal. If you leave the program during the course of the year any tuition balance that is still outstanding will be payable at the time you withdraw.

After the first retreat, we will finalize our agreement with the retreat center and you will become liable for retreat costs for all the remaining retreats, based on your room selection.
